Welcome to Wee Work Out

for body, brain and bonding

Wee Workout owner and lead instructor, Sally Crescioli, has over twenty years experience teaching young children. She has lived her passion for working with wee ones as a children’s dance instructor, swimming teacher, and early primary teacher in the public schools.

Sally was awarded the Ercia Harden Teaching Excellence Award in Monterey County in 1995.  In 1998 she was chosen to represent SLO county as part of a teacher exchange program to China. In addition, she represented California as an ambassador to Japan in the 1999 Fulbright Memorial Fund program. Sally was a founding member of the Under Construction Network in Monterey County, where she worked to implement Piaget’s constructivist theory of child development in the schools. She worked on a master’s degree in education with an emphasis in constructivist theory and presented at numerous conferences, including a national conference in Atlanta, Georgia. She was a mentor teacher and demonstration classroom for Early Intervention for School Success, a program that trains teachers and parents in child growth and development and strategies for working with young children.

Upon the birth of her daughter, Sophia, Sally left teaching in the public schools. Wee Workout now allows her to combine her love for children, teaching, theatre arts, dance, movement and fitness. Her gentle, yet joyful manner draws young children to her. Her expertise in early childhood education make her an invaluable resource for parents.
